Here is the set of 4 Impero armchairs. Each armchair features a motif typical of the Empire style. It refers to the moment of rediscovery of classical ornaments. Swans, acanthus leaves, shells and palms. The Empire style survived until Napoleon and continued to disperse into many currents in each of the reconstructed nations of the Restoration. A unique set for a client who wants their home to be about having no repetition. Each armchair is a work of art. Scattered around the living room they will enrich your home with style and conversation. Around a round table or in a row. I have managed to put together this interesting set from the collection which is probably the largest collection of chairs from the mid 19th century. It's all made up of individual chairs and armchairs, so the idea of building an eclectic set was the perfect answer. Thanks to the collector's profound knowledge we were able to coordinate chairs with a homogeneous style and this lively mix. Coming from a Biedermeier collector in Verona, the chairs will be sent as-is or free upholstered and given a layer of French polish or refreshing wax. The size listed is the first left of the bottom row with a cream colored seat. The full list of measurements will be sent upon request. The country of origin indicated as France, however, should be Europe, as the Empire had continuity in all European countries, including the various Italian states. Here are the measurements of the first two starting from the left of each row Top left height 91 cm, width 54.5 cm, depth 61 cm Bottom left height 92 cm, width 58.5 cm, depth 62 cm.
