At the fall of Troy, Aeneas receives a prophecy according to which he will found a new city (Rome). After a long journey, he and his companions arrive at the Strophades Islands, where harpies, monsters with the bodies of vultures and the heads of women, lived at the time. As they prepare to eat the hunted game, they are attacked by Harpies.
Aeneas ordered his men to fight the harpies, but their weapons could not harm them.

Dopo un lungo viaggio, lui e i suoi compagni arrivano alle isole Strofadi, dove all'epoca vivevano le arpie, mostri con il corpo di avvoltoi e la testa di donna. Mentre si preparano a mangiare la selvaggina cacciata, vengono attaccati dalle arpie.
Enea ordina ai suoi uomini di combattere le arpie, ma le loro armi non possono danneggiarle.
